The building may be a bit rough but the people are so special! It is locally owned and I like that! Their meat counter is the best in the county, in my opinion. On the occasion I have been looking for something special, they have never failed to accommodate me and special order it if it was within their ability to do so. As far as I'm concerned, they ARE the very definition of "hometown" grocery store. There is enough room on the street I used to park my semi tractor-trailer there to go shopping and enjoy the park just across the road. They also have some serious kick-butt smoked meats made right there on the premises. Give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed!
Cute little small town grocery. Not a lot of selection, but it's got most of the usual stuff. Friendly people. Amazing fried chicken.
Owners are really nice and helpful. Some of the employees aren't friendly at all which is crummy. Freshness can be an issue so I always check for expiration dates.
